Michael Cole, Senior Security Consultant, began his security career in 2002. He has served as a Principal Consultant for one of the world’s largest security software companies and as CISO for a publicly traded Texas bank. His expertise spans strategic security program development, infrastructure security, vulnerability management, and compliance alignment with NIST CSF, NIST 800-53, CIS Controls, and ISO 27001. Michael holds Master’s degrees in Information Security and Assurance, Management and Leadership, and an MBA, along with a degree in Scottish History. A frequent conference speaker on security leadership, he also officiates Texas high school and NCAA Division III football.
